This policy explains what information EAM Expert collects through eamexpert.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect very little, so we have kept it short.
Who we are
EAM Expert is a maintenance systems consultancy based in San Diego, California. Our contact details are at the end of this policy.
Information you give us
When you use the contact form, we collect your name, company, email address, the topic you choose and any message you write. We use this only to reply to you and to provide the help you asked for. Your message is sent to us by email, and a copy is kept in a secure database so it is not lost.
Information collected automatically
- Our website host, Vercel, records standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
- The contact page uses Google reCAPTCHA to block spam. reCAPTCHA collects information about your device and how you use the page. Its use is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- The fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when a page loads.
- Blog articles and their images are loaded from our own blogging system, which is hosted by GoDaddy.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. Google reCAPTCHA and our blog host's security service may set cookies that are needed to protect against spam and abuse.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with the service providers that run this website (website hosting, email delivery, database storage and spam protection), only so they can provide those services, or where the law requires it.
Links to other websites
This site links to other websites, including our partner page on eMaint's website and LinkedIn. Their privacy practices are their own, so please review their policies.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep a record of our conversation, and then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you at any time by emailing jpetronio@eamexpert.com. If you live in California or anywhere else with privacy laws that give you specific rights, we will honor those rights.
Security
This site uses secure (HTTPS) connections, and we use reputable service providers. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect yours.
Children
This website is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
